Leeds Julie Spiller Lovely family day out for 3 generations. Grounds immaculately kept, playground a big success particularly tyre maze. Train was delightful surprise that gave lots of historical background for grown ups and real thrill for the children. 27/07/2012

Federchento Only problem is totally out of scale maps for a walk to the waterfall – ruined the day as was too long for us, yet on map it looks very close. Not good if you have small children/ mild disabilities. 26/07/2012

Swansea J Fubbins No signs to say if/ when/ where land train was running from. We and others asked several staff when train was due and each said every 30 mins. Turns out train was all the time parked up and never arrived at GGH – more info on train please!

Eur Lewis The four beds of grass are absolutely boring. If the idea is to encourage new members and visitors you need more colour. Most people are more interested in colour than the fact that a DNA on plants is taking priority.

Vale of Glamorgan Mrs L.M. Jeffery Visited before it was officially opened and several times later, this is the first time after many years. These gardens are beautifully laid out and designed. Jennifer Pitts Sign to car park toilets needs to be attached to outside of Gatehouse. Visitors do not know these toilets exist and frequently have to re-enter via the Gatehouse to access those within the Garden – just a suggestion!

Bournemouth D Taylor Not attracting the numbers it should, the management must accept a new approach is essential. Spoke to a lady living fairly close had no idea of the beauty that prevails. If you are not prepared to re-thnk the strategy you should offer to resign.

Carmarthen Wonderful as always but the Ghost trees canot be seen from the main central path so many visitors just walk straight past. Surely a notice of some sort to direct visitors round the lake paths?

Nottingham Excellent range of things to see and enjoy. Tropical house was best I’ve visited – great variety, well organised and fully maintained allowing plants to be accesible. Also like bee garden and of course the dome. 27/07/2012

Wonderful place, really beautiful and I especially liked the amazing glasshouse on the hill. Had expected more from tree festival though, not many activities or exhibitors. 19/08/2012
