Easter Bank Holiday Weekend
The bill of fare for Easter features our exotic animal show ‘Meet A Meerkat’ (on Good Friday, April 3 and Saturday April 4). We also have Folly Farm’s resident magician, juggler and balloon-modeller Luke Jugglestruck doing his stuff on Easter Saturday (April 4) and Easter Sunday. Meiron Owen and his world-famous Quack Pack will be in action all through the bank holiday weekend with daily performances on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Also on Bank Holiday Monday (April 6) is the annual Easter Bonnet Parade by the Dyfed Carriage Club.

Two days of flying displays, static exhibitions, ‘Hold a Bird’ sessions and more
Saturday April 18 – Fiddlebox album launch
The popular folk duo showcase their new long-playing release entitled ‘Eastern Honeymoon’, which is in the Klez-raeg style (an irresistible fusion of Klezmer and Cymraeg). Performance at 2.30pm.
Sunday April 19 – Tenovus 10k
The annual charity 10k run which goes right around (and through) the Garden. Also fun run and children’s race, too.
Saturday and Sunday April 11-12 – Big Antiques Weekend
Two delightful days of botanical exploration with some quality antique and vintage shopping. Come and find a treasure trove of items, collectibles and curios at the biggest and best antiques fair in the West. Organised by Derwen Fairs 01267 220260
Saturday-Sunday April 25-26 – Woodland Walk Weekend
Join our wildlife expert Deborah Sazer on two woodland walks – at 12 and 2pm both days – and reach parts of the Garden you may not have visited, such as the forgotten falls of Pont Felin Gat and the bluebell-rich Springwoods.
Sunday April 26 – South Wales Classic Car Club “Drive It” Day
Members are jumping in their classic vehicles and getting together at the Garden for a spring display with a difference (11am-4pm)
May Day Bank Holiday Weekend (May 2-4)
The fabulous Folly Farm magician and conjurer Luke Jugglestruck joins us for some bank holiday hijinx on Sunday and Monday. The world-famous Quack Pack are in action on the Sunday as well. And we celebrate International Dowing Day with a special display and demonstrations of the ancient art of water divining.
Saturday-Sunday May 9-10 – Plants for Health in Wartime
Come to the Apothecary’s Hall and discover how plants were used to treat everyday illness and First World War wounds 100 years ago. Expect Edwardian sounds, costumes, crafts and fun
Friday May 15 – Members’ Day
Annual spring garden party for our marvellous members. Look out for walks, talks, demonstrations and displays from staff and volunteers to update you on everything that is going on at the Garden
Friday May 15-Saturday May 16 – Annual National Botanic Garden of Wales Plant Sale
Come and grab a botanic bargain from stalls bristling with plants grown here at the Garden and at home by our staff, volunteers, members and supporters
