May Day Bank Holiday Weekend (May 2-4)

The fabulous Folly Farm magician and conjurer Luke Jugglestruck joins us for some bank holiday hijinx on Sunday and Monday. The world-famous Quack Pack are in action on the Sunday as well. Saturday-Sunday May 9-10 – Plants for Health in Wartime

Come to the Apothecary’s Hall and discover how plants were used to treat everyday illness and First World War wounds 100 years ago. Expect Edwardian sounds, costumes, crafts and fun

Saturday-Sunday May 9-10  – Spring Wildflower Walks

Join Michael Isaacs for a meadow and woodland guided walk in search of some beautiful and fascinating wildflowers. Walks leave at 2pm from the Stables lawn – please wear appropriate footwear.

Friday May 15 – Members’ Day

Annual spring garden party for our marvellous members. Look out for walks, talks, demonstrations and displays from staff and volunteers to update you on everything that is going on at the Garden. Also, there is the unveiling of the Wallace bust, in the Wallace Garden at 2.30. This is preceded by a performance by Theatr na n’Og of the excellent one-man play “You Should Ask Wallace” starring Ioan Hefin. This starts at 1.15pm.

Friday May 15-Saturday May 16 –  Annual National Botanic Garden of Wales Plant Sale

Come and grab a botanic bargain from stalls bristling with plants grown here at the Garden and at home by our staff, volunteers, members and supporters
