The Wallace Garden
The purpose of the Wallace Garden is to be a showcase for plant genetics, raising public understanding and interest in this rapidly developing field. It will give a historical objective overview of the science, including genetic engineering. The Garden will also identify the moral and ethical issues surrounding genetic engineering. The site is the walled garden attached to Trawscoed (the former administration and servants` block attached to the Paxton mansion, now Principality House: The Lifelong Learning Centre).
