Principality House: The Lifelong Learning Centre
Trawscoed, the former administration and servants` block attached to the Paxton mansion, has been restored to its original splendour and is used as a Lifelong Learning Centre, sponsored by the Principality Building Society. It is an innovative centre for education of the highest quality.
It contains three seminar rooms, one of which can accommodate 80-100 people and two for approx. 30, as well as a computer room.
There will be a full programme of activities for learners of all ages, including:
- day courses
- summer school courses
- accredited courses taught over 10 weeks, offered in partnership with Higher and Further Education institutions
- non- accredited courses in a variety of leisure areas
- special events for the public
- in- service training for teachers
- schools programmes
- seminars and lectures for Further and Higher education students
- community events
