The Living Machine

The Living Machine recycles organic waste.  It is housed in a standard greenhouse. Toilets on site drain into the Living Machine`s settlement tank, an anaerobic digester, a closed aerobic tank and clarifier, and three tanks before passing two internal reed beds and a larger external reed bed before passing on to a reed bed.
The nutrient-rich waste water will feed a specially planted coppice of Poplar, Willow, Nothofagus and Eucalyptus.
