Talking Trees

Our new global Tree Trail!

Did you know that 5000 years ago Wales was covered in woodland, and that it is now one of Europe's least wooded countries?

The National Botanic Garden has set up an exciting tree trail, which you can follow around the Garden to learn all about the different trees we have here and to hear their fascinating stories. You can learn all about the olive, gingko, oak, eucalyptus, holly and willow trees, and we even have fossil trees which are over 300 million years old!

Make sure you pick up a brochure next time you visit us, and follow the global tree trail...
