Sun shines on consorts
Carmarthenshire’s No 1 visitor attraction was looking its best for Consorts Day.
The second Carmarthenshire Council Consorts Day featured honoured guests from local authorities along the M4 corridor.
The event is organised as a special thank-you to mayoresses and consorts of county councils and county borough councils all over South Wales – it is also an excellent opportunity to promote Carmarthenshire to the region’s VIPs.
Eira Evans, of Carmarthenshire Council, said: “This is the second time this event has been arranged, and the second time it’s been held at the National Botanic Garden.
“Last year, and again this year, a number of the guests indicated they would return and bring their families.”
