This is the third lake to be restored by the Botanic Garden. There are lovely places to sit and watch the wildlife here. Look out for nesting little grebe on the far side of the lake, for kingfishers perched on overhanging branches and if  you’re lucky, otters, which move from lake to lake via discreet interconnecting streams.

Cross the bridge on the far side to get into Waun Las NNR.
