Using the Outdoor Classroom –more than just mud pies!

Friday 7th June
Outdoor learning can help improve a pupils self esteem and concentration. Be more confident in using
the outdoors to help develop your pupils’ literacy skills as well as enable you to introduce some science
topics in a fun way. You will take part in and be shown a number of different games and activities you can use and that will help you develop better lesson plans for the outdoor classroom.

Willow Christmas Crafts for the Classroom

Learn about the cultivation, use and history of willow and then weave a variety of simple curriculum linked willow projects for the most sustainable Christmas ever!  Projects will include wreaths, stars, trees and angels. Hands on practical course, everything you make you take back to school.  All course participants will be given a set of full, visual written instructions for each project completed on the day.
