Digital Photography
With Nick Davison
With the advent of digital photography, access to excellent pictures is now easier and cheaper than ever before. It has, however, introduced a new layer of complexity which you need to learn before you can start making great pictures.
Join local photographer Nick Davison to go through the basic building blocks of both the art and craft of photography. The course will be broken down into four sections, going right back to basics before moving on to more advanced information. Each session will build on those that have come before and will be suitable for owners of both DSLR and compact cameras.
Part 1 will allow you to get to know your camera and what it can do and then in Part 2 you will learn how to create and frame your photograph. When you have become proficient in using your camera you may want to go on to Part 3 to learn how to edit your photos on your computer and then Part 4 will teach you about more advanced composition and the use of filters, etc.
