Digital Photography
with Nick Davison
http://www.gowerphotography.co.uk/
The course is designed for photographers of all abilities and it doesn’t matter if you have a mobile phone, compact camera or the latest digital SLR. The course will cover the basics of photography – exposure, focusing, composition, understanding your camera and how to set it up for the best quality results by learning as you make photographs.
We will use the outstanding variety of scenery at the Gardens to make close up photographs all the way up to wide scenic views. Depending on the season, we will try and take advantage of what is at its peak in the garden and if you decide to attend all the courses, you will develop a good photographic record of the Gardens throughout the whole year. We will be based in the Wallace room which will allow us to cover elements of image processing with a computer, but the overall emphasis will be to try and get close to the ideal photograph using just the camera.
