Paper Making  with Jonathan Korejko

Using plants from the Botanic Garden collection, you will learn how to make handmade paper with simple techniques and equipment. You’ll be making papers with flower petals, leaves, plant stems, seeds, and recycled paper, and exploiting the dye within the plants, too. It’s easy to learn, and inspirational to discover how much of the beauty and science of growing plants can be put into handmade paper. You’ll also be given ideas about how you might continue making paper at home, so that hopefully your own garden will become a source of paper for you in the future!
