A Spring Tonic

From nettles to narcissi, with the focus on spring, this day course explores the traditions and science of plant medicine.  Traditionally herbs have been used in Wales to cleanse the body following the winter.  Join us for a day of exploration and making preparation for the summer.

Herbs in the Hedgerows

A walk in the Gardens’ meadows and woodland to explore the medicinal wild plants.  With the focus on wild plant identification we will explore botany and plant science through colour and taste giving you a practical and fun way into plant ID.  Learn how to sustainably harvest plants and how to use them as remedies.
