Mel and Clare are the founders of Out to Learn Willow.  They are based in South Wales and run courses throughout the year sharing their skills and knowledge of the wonderful traditional crafts of willow weaving and basketry.  You will be given expert tuition to enable you to create something very special.

 

Willow Crafts for the Garden

Learn to make a plant support, a small edging hurdle or a climbing plant trellis using a variety of willow and weaving techniques. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and all necessary tools are provided.

Willow Sunflowers and Snails

Learn to make a large willow flower and a plaited willow snail to decorate your home or garden using a variety of willow and weaving techniques. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and all necessary tools are provided.
