Crafts in Action
It’s Crafts in Action at the National Botanic Garden this bank holiday weekend (April 30, May 1&2) where local crafts people will be putting on a show of their skills.
From woodturning , willow sculpture and wildlife photography; to pottery, portraiture and Paula shell jewellery – there’s bound to be a craft or two to tickle your fancy.
Organiser Les Bryan said: “We’ve tried to assemble a formidable range of experts in a wide variety of crafts which, we hope, will provide plenty of food for thought for Garden visitors.
“The idea is that they will be demonstrating their skills as well as selling their wares – which will make for much more of a spectacle,” he added.
* The Garden is open daily from 10am to 6pm. For more information, call 01558 667149 or email info@gardenofwales.org.uk
