Fun and games at Garden
CHILDREN can get into the National Botanic Garden of Wales for FREE this Saturday and enjoy some fun and games!
Diwrnod Hwyl Y Teulu – Family Fun Day will see a whole host of activities aimed at young children and their mums and dads or grans and grandads.
There are loads of activities going on throughout the day including art and craft activities and face painting.
Carrying on the creative theme – there will be cookery classes and smoothie-making and help and advice on keeping youngsters fit and healthy.
There will also be some hi-energy fun on offer with dance and keep fit sessions.
Diwrnod Hwyl y Teulu – Family Fun Day is being run by Welsh language and community initiative Menter Cwm Gwendraeth in partnership with the Gardens.
Organiser Meinir Griffiths of Menter Cwm Gwendraeth said: “We held our first Diwrnod Hwyl y Teulu last year. It was such a big success that we decided to hold it again this year. We are very grateful to the National Botanic Garden for inviting us back – it is such a fabulous venue.”
“Like last year, it promises to be a fantastic event – we have so many great activities to offer the children. We want to encourage play and healthy living through the medium of Welsh and English. But mostly we want everybody to have fun.”
The event starts at 11am and keeps on going until 4pm in the afternoon.
