Fungi to the 4 . . .
The BBC Radio 4 series Saving Species came to the Garden in October to record a programme entitled “What has fungi ever done for us?”. Featuring the Garden’s Director Dr Rosie Plummer, this is being broadcast on Tuesday Nov 1st at 11am and on Thursday Nov 3rd at 9pm. It’s also on IPlayer for a week – click here to listen.
Radio 4′s Living World also came to record in the Garden the day after. The Garden’s Bruce Langridge is featured along with Aberystwyth University’s Gareth Griffiths, talking about waxcap fungi on our Waun Las national nature reserve. This is being broadcast on Sunday Nov 13th 6.35am and on IPlayer for a week after.
