Always wanted to grow your own organic veg? Now’s your chance to find out how with a four-week course at the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
It starts on Saturday January 14 from 10am-1pm and runs for the three Saturdays thereafter. The course is entitled: ‘Organic Vegetable Growing: from planning to consumption’ and content includes pest control, variety choice and crop rotation.
The cost is £35 for National Botanic Garden members, £40 for non-members. For more details, call 01558 667150
Families might also like to know that during February Half Term, we’ll be showing children how to grow their own on Monday and Tuesday 13th and 14th Feb, 11am- 3pm. This will take place in our Double Walled Garden.

I would like to book a place on the above course strting Sat. 14th Jan. I am not a member of the NBGW but am a member of the Carmarthenshire Tourist Ass. and RHS. Do either of these entitle me to the £35 fee?
Can I book a place on the Organic Vegetable Growing course please. My membership has lapsed and i would also like to renew that. Thanking you in anticipation.
Thanks for your interest Ruth.
Yes, of course you can book a place. We’ll email you directly with details.
