Many Happy Returns
The special ‘return ticket’ that allows free entry for a week, is back in operation at the National Botanic Garden.
Anyone buying a ticket to the Garden between now and the beginning of September will be allowed back in FREE of charge for seven days after their visit – and as many times as they like!
Head of marketing David Hardy said: “We trialled this last August after getting lots of feedback from visitors about how they weren’t able to see all the different parts of the Garden in one go.
“We do say ‘You won’t be able to see it all in a day’ but people from out of the area not familiar with the Garden are often caught out. This is a good way of ensuring that, if they want to come back and see some more, they can – and for free.”
Mr Hardy added the offer doesn’t just apply to tourists; the ‘return ticket’ offer is open to everyone.
The Garden is spread across nearly 600 acres when you add Waun Las National Nature Reserve and the magical wooded valley of Pont Felin Gât to the formal core of the attraction.
There is also much to see, including the fabulous fungi exhibition “From Another Kingdom”, the new Green Technologies Trail around the Garden’s various sustainability exemplars, and an archaeological dig to uncover the remains of what we think might be a medieval mansion and garden.
This summer also sees a packed programme of family fun activities including Garden Olympics, falconry and meerkats.
So it definitely makes sense to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the Garden and its many facets to the full.
The ‘Return Ticket’ will apply to all full price admission bought between July 20th and September 9th 2012.
