On track for Fathers’ Day fun

On track for Fathers’ Day fun

There’s fabulous F1 Fathers’ Day fun to be had at the National Botanic Garden of Wales.

Dads are allowed in FREE of charge on Sunday June 16th to celebrate their special day and also have a chance to make their own F1 racing car and then race it on a special track, which will be set up in the Great Glasshouse.

To help the day go with a swing, there is also music, magic, merriment, balloon modelling, a bouncy castle and general family entertainment – so it’s not ALL about dad.

But he will be interested to know there will be displays by Jaguar and Land Rover, and a science exhibition of work done by Maes yr Yrfa, Amman Valley, Gowerton and Gŵyr schools, plus Coleg Sir Gâr, Swansea Metropolitan University, Cardiff University and Panasonic – all in association with STEMCymru and Engineering Education Scheme Wales (EESW).

The Garden is open from 10am-6pm and dads (and grandads) are admitted free of charge on Fathers’ Day.
