The wonder of herbs
Create plant potions and lotions for Christmas presents on a one-day course with medical herbalist Lara Bernays.
The course is on Saturday December 10, 10am-4pm at the National Botanic Garden of Wales and, says Lara will involve “making bespoke gifts out of herbs and seasonal spices for your nearest and dearest – from floral bath products that are kind to the skin to spice massage bars for the friend with a bad back”.
Lara says: “Spend a fun day learning about the wonders of herbs and come away with a collection of Christmas presents, decorations and new ideas – the perfect antidote to Christmas shopping!”
Discover the history and health wonders of Christmas herbs and spices. Why put sage in your stuffing, spices in your mulled wine, cinnamon in your mincemeat? Lara will share her top tips on ways to make the most of these warm winter aromas.
The cost is £35 and includes all materials; you will leave with at least three beautiful Christmas gifts and decorations you have made.
