What a picture!
One of the most photographed attractions in Wales is launching a competition which is guaranteed to put talented visitors in the picture.
The National Botanic Garden is urging all cameramen and women to submit their favourite images of the Carmarthenshire attraction and earn a chance to have them feature on the Garden’s 2015 calendar.
The competition is designed to give all photographers – amateur AND professionals – of all ages, a year-long chance to capture the perfect pic and snap up a coveted place on a Garden calendar.
Head of marketing David Hardy said: “There are thousands of photographs of the Garden out there on social media sites, image sites and, I dare say, unseen on people’s hard-drives all over the world.
“What we want to do is harness that skill and enthusiasm and put together a really must-have calendar with images from a unique global collection.”
Anyone interested in taking part should email jpeg images (minimum 2 megabytes and at least 300dpi) to calendar@gardenofwales.org.uk
